Dispute settlement

Consumer contracts in the areas of electricity and gas
For the purpose of settling disputes pertaining to consumer contracts in the area of electricity and gas, an arbitration procedure can be applied for with the arbitration office Energie e.V., Friedrichstraße 133, 10117 Berlin, Germany, under the conditions laid down in Section 111b German Energy Industry Act (EnWG).

The precondition for such an application is that SWM’s complaints office has been applied to and a satisfactory solution for both parties has not been found. SWM is obliged to participate in the arbitration procedures of the Energie e.V. arbitration office.

For the purpose of settling disputes pertaining to consumer contracts in the area of heating, water, and energy services as well as other consumer contracts, an arbitration procedure can be applied for with the nationwide Allgemeinen Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle des Zentrums für Schlichtung e.V., Straßburger Straße 8, 77694 Kehl am Rhein:
